AWH Leprosy Eradication Center

AWH Leprosy eradication centre was started on 1991 Nov 1st which has conducted leprosy eradication programme in the following 10 panchayats of kondotty block

2. Chelembra
3. Kondotty
4. Pallikkal
5. Pullikkal
6. Keezhuparamb
1. Vazhakkad
8. Vazhayoor
9. Cheekode
10. kuzhimanna

In these panchayats, people suffering from leprosy were identified and treated. This disease is detected by trained Nms and Li. They provide door-to-door survey, school survey, Leprosy awareness classes, Free skin disease treatment and ongoing treatment in addition to MCR chappals.
