RSMH Teacher Training Institute

RSMH TTI Started in the year 1998 under AWH management with the objective of undertaking manpower development and conducting research and development service models in the area of intellectual disability. The institute is recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India.

The institute offers two year teacher training course D.Ed.SE(ID) (Diploma in Education Special Education Intellectual Disability) and the annual intake is 25. The course prepares the students to work as special educators in mental retardation in special schools and special class situation in regular schools and also work in integrated setup in regular schools.

The examinations are conducted by National institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD). Each year achieved 100% result. Four permanent faculties working in this institute.

The basic qualification for the admission of the course is 50% marks in plus two Examination and pass the All India Online Entrance Examination conducted by the Rehabilitation Council of India.
