Administrative Office

AWH was established in the year 1973 with the main objective of helping persons with various disabilities and for rehabilitating them. Over the past 49 years of its continuous existence without break AWH grew into an organization running about 33 institutions / projects in different fields ranging from special education, rehabilitation, women and child help, protection of elderly to higher education and technical education. The AWH projects and institutions function in Kozhikode, Malappuram, Kannur and Palakkad Districts with necessary approvals from Govt. and other agencies.

AWH is a charitable society registered as No. 26/75 on 29/03/1975 under the Societies Registration Act (Act XXI of 1860). It is also registered with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India as FC No. 052880056 dated 10/04/1985 under Foreign Contribution Act of 1976. AWH has obtained IT exemption under Section 12 A of the IT Act 1961. The Administrative Office of AWH is situated at 17/194 A, M'Square Complex, Pavamani Road, Kozhikode - 673 001.
