Rahmaniya VHSS for handicapped- Medical College Started in: 1991, Rahmaniya VHSS for Handicapped is a unique educational institution offering Pre University education under the Directorate of General Education, Govt. of Kerala, India. Located at Calicut Medical College and managed by the Association for Welfare of the Handicapped (AWH) Calicut, this centre of academic excellence offers a platform, after matriculation, to carry forward the twin routes of higher education and vocational skill development in two years. The school follows a philosophy of social inclusion through the Integrated Education for Disabled (IED) scheme, opening the doors of higher education to the hearing impaired children, along with others.
